I've watched many shows and through quite a few episodes, and sometimes many well-grounded arguments in favor of pairings, I would come to accept and love certain pairings on shows. Some pairings took me more time to accept than others.

When I saw the Pilot episode of "Monk" and saw the interaction between Monk and Sharona, it clicked with me almost immediately.

Whether they eventually get together or not, I will still love this pairing. I'll jump for joy if they do and be sad if they don't, but that's what fan fiction is for!

And, like all good things, I'm willing to wait for something to happen. If it's meant to be (which I think it is), then it will come in time.
